During Your Visit

When visiting the clinic, it is recommended to bring the following documents (if available):

  • Outpatient records from a previous eye specialist examination

  • Discharge summaries and all tests you have, including specialized tests, imaging, etc.

  • Other relevant medical documentation

  • Your prescription glasses, if you wear them

 

Scheduling an Appointment

When scheduling an appointment, it is important to indicate whether you have additional health insurance and to provide the name of your insurance company.

Referral Information

Your primary care physician must issue a referral for an examination by a specialist ophthalmologist. The referral can be used within 30 calendar days from the date of issuance.

If you have a referral, you can schedule an appointment through our online booking system or by calling us at 0700 89 003 or 088 351 1121.

Voluntary Health Insurance Funds

Examinations covered by the fund are carried out in both medical facilities.

*You must familiarize yourself in advance with the conditions of the insurance company and carry the physical or electronic fund card.

The following funds require you to contact them in advance and confirm the upcoming examination:

  • DZI

  • Groupama Insurance

  • UNIQA

The following fund requires prior confirmation from you if the examination will be with the head of department:

Home visit

A home visit by specialists from VISION Eye Clinic is a service aimed at patients with various mobility issues or other accompanying health conditions.
