Doctors and resident physicians from VISION took part in one of the most prestigious international events in the field of retinal medicine -Floretina – ICOOR International. The congress brings together leading ophthalmologists, scientists, and innovators from more than 70 countries and showcases the latest advances in the diagnosis, medical, and surgical treatment of retinal diseases.
The annual event focuses on the newest developments in retinal diagnostics, medical and surgical treatment, as well as cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of vision care. The congress traditionally gathers thousands of professionals and offers a rich scientific program including plenary sessions, presentations, live surgery demonstrations, and a large exhibition area. The exhibition features innovations in imaging diagnostics, gene therapy, AI-based diagnostic solutions, and vitreoretinal surgical platforms.
Around 1,500 scientific presentations were featured during the event, including new data on gene and optogenetic therapies, artificial intelligence in diagnostics, and modern vitreoretinal surgical techniques. Advances in retinal disease diagnostics (such as OCT and OCT Angio), new surgical techniques, and therapeutic approaches — including pharmacological and gene therapies — were also presented.
