Dr. Galya Hristova, a specialist in contact lens correction at VISION Eye Hospital, was invited to participate in the 13th Conference on Myopia and Contact Lenses in China 2026. She delivered a presentation titled “The Evolution of Ortho-K Lens Design – from France to China,” in which she shared her long-term clinical experience and practical results in myopia control (monitoring the progression of nearsightedness).
The event is among the most significant international scientific forums in the field of myopia and contact lens practice, bringing together leading specialists from around the world. Dr. Hristova was one of the 20 global experts invited as speakers at the scientific forum.
Dr. Hristova’s participation is a source of pride for Bulgarian ophthalmologists working in this field and a privilege for VISION as a developed center for the diagnosis and monitoring of this condition, as well as for providing its most modern treatment.
