Dr. Balázs Les is a Hungarian ophthalmologist with many years of experience in retinal surgery and inherited retinal diseases. He worked at the Eye Clinic of Hungary’s leading medical institution – Semmelweis University. He is currently practicing at Optimum Private Eye Clinic.
Since 2006, he has been performing cataract surgeries, and since 2010 – vitrectomies for conditions such as vitreous hemorrhage, retinal detachment, epiretinal membrane, macular hole, intraocular foreign bodies, dislocated and sunken lenses, and others.
Dr. Les also performs diagnostics, treatment, and surgery for glaucoma, including surgical management of complicated cases. He has numerous publications and scientific works related to the diagnosis and treatment of various retinal dystrophies.
