Dr. Nikolaeva is a dedicated physician with extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of some of the most serious eye diseases. She performs surgical treatments for cataracts, pterygium, diseases of the eyelids, conjunctiva, and the ocular surface. Dr. Nikolaeva administers intravitreal injections for the wet form of macular degeneration — a condition that, without treatment, leads to vision loss. She also provides laser therapy for secondary cataracts and diseases of the posterior segment of the eye, such as peripheral retinal degenerations, diabetic retinopathy, complications after retinal vein thrombosis, and more, as well as laser and surgical treatment for glaucoma.
