DRSPlus – Fundus Camera

The device captures images of the retina, retinal blood vessels, optic nerve head (optic disc), macula, and the fundus

A fundus camera is used to capture color images of the condition of the ocular fundus. The device photographs the retina, the retinal blood vessels, the optic disc of the optic nerve, the macula, and the posterior pole (i.e., the fundus). This allows for the documentation of pathological changes in the fundus and provides the most accurate way to monitor their progression over time.

With the DRSplus, conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, macular edema, retinal dystrophy, and others can be monitored.

It uses scanning laser ophthalmoscopy technology with white light.

Advantages:

  • Most realistic imaging of the ocular fundus

  • Fast automatic capture

  • Wide-angle retinal images

  • No need for pupil dilation

  • Comfortable patient positioning

  • Non-invasive procedure
