Immediately after laser correction:
- Return home immediately after the correction and rest with your eyes closed, applying the mandatory eye drops according to the prescribed schedule.
- Do not wash your hair or head immediately after the procedure. You may shower the next day. It is best if someone helps you tilt your head back and wash it without getting water in your eyes.
- Do not wash your face. Do it the next day without getting your eyes wet, and for the next ten days, do not get your eyes wet.
- Do not apply makeup around your eyes; it is recommended to apply makeup after about a week.
- Do not drink alcohol on the same day.
- Do not drive – preferably after a week.
- Watching TV and working on a computer are not recommended.
- Do not engage in sports for at least one week after the procedure.
- Do not swim or engage in contact and high-impact sports for at least two weeks after the correction.
- Within one month after laser correction, avoid contact with sea water and swimming pools, and do not use a sauna.
- Avoid smoky and dusty environments for one month.
During the first two to three days after the procedure, the following unpleasant sensations are possible:
- Pronounced tearing
- Burning and foreign body sensation
- Light sensitivity
- Difficulty opening eyes
- Fluctuations in vision quality
- Halos around objects
If you have a headache, you can take a pain medication.
