Associate Professor Dr. Desislava Koleva, vitreoretinal surgeon, will be consulting and performing surgeries at VISION on September 17.
Dr. Koleva has extensive experience in the surgical treatment of retinal diseases, vitreous hemorrhages, diabetic retinopathy, macular disorders, and more. She also performs cataract surgery, including complex and complicated cases, and has significant expertise in the surgical management of severe ocular trauma.
She is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Department of Ophthalmology, Medical University of Plovdiv, and practices as an ophthalmologist at the Clinic of Eye Diseases, University Hospital “St. George.”
